Guides
All guidesOne per game. How it pays, what each setting does to the variance, and what martingale really risks: honest maths, computed from the tables, with a simulator link for every claim.
Plinko strategy
Rows and risk change the shape of the payout, not its average. The nine boards, computed.
Dice strategy
Win chance sets the multiplier and the streak length. Martingale’s wall, computed for a real bankroll.
Limbo strategy
P(clear x) is 0.99 divided by x. Everything else about Limbo follows from that one line.
Mines strategy
Survival per pick, the ladder, and why one-tile-and-out is Dice in a different costume.
Roulette strategy
Every bet on the wheel loses 2.70% on average. The table, and what martingale on red risks.
Dragon Tower strategy
Five difficulties, nine rows, one ladder each. Survival per row and the odds of the top, computed.
Crash strategy
P(reach x) is 0.99 over x, so every auto cash-out has the same expectation. What 2× and martingale really do.
The same coin flip on six games
What a near-2× bet pays on each game, side by side.
How a free game can be provably fair
- 1
You hold a seed pair
A server seed (committed by its SHA-256 hash), a client seed you can edit, and a nonce that counts rounds. It lives in your browser.
- 2
Every round is HMAC-SHA256
The result is HMAC-SHA256(server seed, client seed:nonce:cursor) read into floats and mapped by the game’s published formula. Same construction real casinos use.
- 3
Rotate, reveal, verify
Rotate the pair to reveal the old server seed, then open any round on VerifyRoll with one link and watch it recompute.
Read exactly how it works, or open the seeds panel on any game.
Questions
- Is PlinkoLab a casino?
- No. There is nothing to deposit, nothing to buy and nothing to win. The balance is play money that resets on demand and never leaves your browser.
- Are the odds the same as a real casino?
- Yes. The games use the same formulas and multiplier tables the big crypto casinos publish, at a 1% house edge (2.70% for single-zero roulette, fixed by the wheel), so what you learn here transfers.
- Are the games rigged in my favour?
- No. The practice versions run the real odds: Plinko, Dice, Limbo, Mines, Dragon Tower and Crash return 99% on average and Roulette 97.3%, exactly as the real games do. Your session stats page shows your realised return against those figures. A free game that paid better than the real one would teach the wrong lesson.
- Does a betting strategy beat the edge?
- No. Every round has an expected value of minus 1% of the stake, and a staking plan only chooses the next stake; it cannot see the next result. The strategy simulator runs thousands of sessions so you can watch martingale and friends reshape the risk without moving the average.
- Who pays for this?
- PlinkoLab is sponsored by Craze, a crypto casino. That is why the free version exists and why the links to Craze are there; the disclosure is in the footer of every page.
Changelog
- 2026-09-27
Seven strategy guides and four free-game landing pages. A guide per game (Plinko, Dice, Limbo, Mines, Roulette, Dragon Tower, Crash) that computes how the game pays, what each setting does to the variance, and what martingale, d’Alembert and “cash out at 2×” do to ruin odds, every claim linked to a pre-filled simulator run on a fixed seed. Free Plinko, Dice, Mines and Crash pages embed the game above computed odds tables: binomial bucket probabilities beside the 16-row multipliers, chance-to-multiplier and streak odds for Dice, survival ladders for 3, 5 and 10 mines, and P(reach x) for Crash. Guides are in the nav, the footer and the home page; the sitemap and llms.txt list everything. - 2026-09-23
Three more games, a strategy simulator, session stats and shareable rounds. Roulette (single zero, 2.70% edge shown), Dragon Tower (nine rows, five difficulties, cursor-per-row derivation) and Crash on a 1,000-game SHA-256 hash chain built in your browser. The Lab gains a seeded strategy simulator (flat, martingale, reverse martingale, d’Alembert, Fibonacci) with ruin odds, drawdowns and two charts, and a stats page with realised RTP per game and your Plinko landings against the binomial curve. Every round can be shared as a link that recomputes it from the revealed seeds. - 2026-09-23
PlinkoLab gets its own look. Off the shared template and onto an arcade identity of its own: new typefaces, game tiles, a play-money balance in the header, per-page share images, schema.org markup, a nonce-based Content Security Policy and about, methodology and contact pages.
